    My second post, this is our cat Tiger.
    Photo was taken Jan 2007 with my old D40
    Manual Setting
    Focal Length: 200mm
    Shutter: 1/320
    F stop: 5.6
    Exposure Comp: 0EV

    Thanks to all that have helped me in the past couple of days, it's really a joy to have all of you try to help. Again, thank you.

    Its a treat having you here Oscar !!!!

    Love the extreme close up Very effective crop and love it That is one gorgeous kitty Must show my girls .... they are sleeping now !!!!

    btw for those extreme close ups the dof is very limited even stopping down Would suggest focusing on the eyes which are the most important
    part of the image Here the point of focus is on the nose !!!

    Hi Oscar, love tiger's closeup.
    Amazing similarity with my cat, PC shot with 400mm indoors.
    Window light works excellently for this type shot
