    Up Close to a Mallard on the Charles that was trying to solve his itch

    Nikon D300 with 300mm and 1.4 ext
    F9 at 1/2000th and ISO 500

    I like the pose and slightly open bill. It looks a bit oversaturated on my monitor and the blacks seem to be blocked.

    Agree with Axel !!!!! Might also add the head is not square to the camera Its a bit tilted away from the plane

    Do like the pose and look Seems to have found what was itching !!!!
