    Hi Everyone,
Here is another one for the weekly theme, taken last February at Fort Myers Beach. The light was low and flat and it was extremely windy. Later on that day we had quite a storm - Artie and Denise, you might remember it - I think that it was during your IPT!
I was all alone on the beach apart from this beautiful reddish egret. It graced me with its presence for about 20 minutes and this privilege was one of the highlights of my trip :)

Beautiful composition, Nicki. Love the colors of the egret and the bg. Excellent timing with the water. It works well for me... very much in your style. TFS.

I love the high key look to the water and the perfect timing. It is definitely a "Nicki Gwynn" look. The SWFIPT was fantastic and I think we all got some great images!

Beautiful composition Nicki of a beautiful bird. I'm sure that was worth the trip!

Nicki, this is great all around! I saw one of these for the first time at Bolsa Chica a couple of weekends ago. Beautiful bird wonderfully presented. I love that high key look also!

    Nice image and application, Nicki.

At first I thought it was ice, but then I saw Ft Myers ... But then I remembered you said this year, so it could have been!!!! :( ;) :D

Being from the northland, I was very surprised to experience Florida's last winter! Reminded me of home! ;)

Cheryl, Kerry and Mark, thank you for your very kind words. Mark, I too was surprised at the weather, having arrived with a suitcase full of T-shirts...:D

Way to capture the moment Nikki, the water in the bill supercedes (hmmm :o did I spell that right?) all else...very nice image, HK background, sharp features on the bird..well done
