after attending this show three years ago i learned that the organizers put the audience looking into the sun for the show. so last year i decided to try another position outside of the airport with a better angle. made for a little better day! this was one of the captures that day.

D300, 300mm, f/8, f/1250s, ISO 400. wishing i had stopped down for more prop blur. this would have been better for sure!!

thanks for looking. comments much appreciated.

I like it! I agree that a bit more prop blur would have added to the sense of motion. You might consider cropping just a tad more off the RHS.

I like the smoke showing the angle of attack. Maybe a touch more sharpening on the aircraft.

Oh, I like this one! Nice sky BG and dramatic light on the smoke. Well composed too, with good room on the right and the plane on a power point. Very nice!

Really a nice catch--great comp, the sky cooperated with those light hazy clouds, and you got a nice clear shot of the plane at just the right moment.
