I thought I would pop in another image of this beauty. I have captured these guys in flight, and thought this pose and setting was appropriate to start off a relaxing weekend.

Beautiful image design. I wish the OOF flowers were not there. Very nice details on the bird and the trailing tail is lovely.

Cool-looking species, I also like the soft light, perch and BG. The OOF plant in the foreground is not ideal but I don't find it very distracting.

I'm with Denise for the OOF flowers, but all else looks great. The red bill stands out nicely against the b/w bird.

What a shot Stu ! Not a easy specie to capture because of their tiny size. IMG is sharp and well exposed with great detail and comp. Natural colours spot on. Well done !

Really beautiful environmental elements here! Background and the purplish plants are perfect! The best thing is of course this unique and pretty subject. That trailing long tail is simply gorgeous! Great stuff.

    Hi Stuart

There reallly are a spectacular bird. I never find it easy to photograph birds with long tails but you have framed this one well. The OOF flowers in the foreground are a little distracting but not to the point of spoiling a very good photo.

    Cheers

    Rich

Like the overall feel and composition Stuart! Lovely light. Pity about the OOF flowers but still a great image.
