This shot is from a while ago, I can't quite figure out what the gull is carrying, looks like a piece of sponge but maybe you guys have a better idea
This was with the 7D and 400 f/5.6, don't have the full EXIF.

Looks like a piece of bread, I like the banking pose and eye contact, too. This is one happy bird. :)
Excellent pose Arashbhai ,

Hi Arash, Not sure what he's got either. Doesn't look like a natural food. Beautiful light, wingspread, detail and sharp...well handled!
Nice one Arash. Good light, and lovely topside look. Maybe a crust of french bread, or an orange peel?
Arash - nice image. My first reaction was that it looks like pumpkin if the color is true, like a piece after they get smashed on Halloween.
TFS,
Rachel
Beautiful lighting and detail Arash....nicely done.

Nailed it Arash - Love it!
So sharp, looks like that must be a killer lens. I think it is a french baguette:). or part therof.....:D
Nice shot! Looks like a salmon filet from the local supermarket!

Thanks guys!!! judging from the orange color it's probably not a piece of bread, does look a bit more solid and cubical than pumpkin leftover, I didn't see the gull eating it but other gulls seemed to be pursuing this fellow so it is something they all like!
