Good detailed portrait, Scott. Great textures. NR on the BG would be worth a run and sharpening halo beneath the bill could be easily dealt with. A slight contrast boost may be worth exploring.

Interesting crop, good eye contact and sharpness. I wish back and bill would not merge and might run NR on the BG.

Wonderfully detailed and excellent use of d-o-f. Comments by Axel and Tony are right-on (though the bill tip merge does not bother me much at all).

Scott, loved the details and the light angle. Good call on f-stop as Arite mentioned. I am guessing you were set up for flight shot with that high ISO. I'd run NR on BG and sharpen the bird a little less.

Great portrait with wonderful details in the blacks and I very much like your choice of cropping. TFS

Excellent detail Scott, sharp, and I like the exposure on the blacks. Another vote for NR on the BG.
