    A 1942 US Army Air Corp trainer with a military designation of PT-22. This image was taken at a recent "Planes of Fame" Fly-in Valle, AZ. This is the first one I've seen and it is a beautifully maintained aircraft.

    that is one beautiful machine, alan! processing looks great. plane looks natural and the detail in this is fantastic!! as mentioned in the other threads, the prop blur really makes it!

    The fact that you don't have any glaring hot spots on the bare shiny fuselage is great. I am assuming he was flying straight into the sun. Cool looking plane and I find the design of the wheel struts interesting.

    The sun was coming over my left shoulder. I estimate that he was at about a 30 degree angle to the sun rather than directly into it. Thanks for your comments!
