This is a Limpkin-in-habitat image taken at Orlando Wetlands in early February. Would prefer that the light, out-of-focus cattail stem below the head wasn't there, but given my present skill level in PS, it would be tricky to remove. Other opinions are welcome. 20D, 500 f/4, 1/180, f/6.7, ISO 400, fill flash with better beamer at -1.0.

    Hi Steve,

Good exposure, nice detail, and a perfect head angle. Well done fill flash. Agree that the light cattail stem is undesireable as are the ones in front of the birds body, but still the image does convey the habitat well. The image looks a bit oversaturated on my monitor.

    HI Steve,

I don't mind the vivid colors. The composition works very well but the BG is very busy. You did well with the fill flash.
