    This is one of the best Lions I have ever seen, and he has a tracking collar, but you could never see it under that mane.:D

    The light was not overly helpfull, nor was running out of room on my CF card (memo try concentrating)

    impressive specimen Ken! you did well with the exposure in less-than-ideal light conditions.
    I would crop closer here, placing the lion more off-centre to the RHS

    love the pose , stare and black mane , one might fine specimen , to my taste I like this wider perspective

    Awesome image you got here Ken. The direct eye contact is just great. I also like the composition as is.
