White Ibis...they are so common in Florida we sometimes take them for granted...just love their blue eyes when the lighting is right

Ken - The colors really pop. Nice sharp eye.

Hi Ken, Nice portrait that is sharp, beautiful backround, well lit with good detail. I used a slight tweak with S/H to bring out a bit more detail in the whites.
In CS5 the S/H control is much improved and if not used to high levels it won't leave a halo.

Hi Ken - your Ibis are stunning compared to our UGLY ones - love that blue eye.

Are your guys tame - ours are in public places - scavenge for food in these areas - if I had these guys I would be trying to get a super close up of that eye.

Daves repost improves a already nice image.
    Good show :)

Thanks for the tweak Dave...much better. Just got CS5 so will have to play with it a little. Ours are tame also Lance...they do the same things here....I usually refer to them as Florida's version of the pigeon as they are everywhere. They are really pretty when flying with the black tipped wings and really show off well in late afternoon lighting.

Love the eye contact, and the colours and detail in the bird.
