    It was a pretty slow morning, the chicks stretched and yawned a lot and I liked this 'helicopter' pose. :) The light was quite low.

    1D4, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/320s, f/6.3, EC +1.67, ISO 800, cropped from horizontal and added canvas at the top

    Axel, the pose makes this one for me. Terrific timing. I also like all the other things....exposure, low angle and the DOF perfectly covering the entire bird. well done as usual.

    I can't think of anyway to improve the image given the lighting limitations. Great angle and timing Axel.

    Might have felt like slow morning, but that statement doesn't go with the photo! Love the pose, low angle and sharpness. Well done!

    Great pose and that's important. There are so many images you could take - most of the time the chicks are doing nothing. You caught a good moment.
