Taken at Mill Creek Marsh, Lyndhurst, NJ. Found this one walking back and forth under a bridge, at low tide. Unfortunately I was unable to get a better angle to shoot from. I needed waders and not boots, to get lower angle from the water. I had to shoot from the aforementioned bridge.

Nice sharp image. It's too bad the crest blends into the grass in the BG. Not sure I like how he's positioned, but you work with what you've got. I might give it a little more room to the left because it looks like he's eying something to eat outside of the frame.
Hi Al, Great light and good angle illuminating the bird well and bringing out the detail. I think the crest is well defined due to the lighting. I like the vertical comp but would of liked a small amount of additional room on the right and bottom. Good capture...
