    Image made at a weekend workshop covering all different types and styles of photography. Got the chance to try some high speed flash stuff. Fun and interesting.

    200ISO f16
    Shutter on bulb
    flash fired in sync with the paint explosion

    One of the more unique and interesting photos I have seen in a while.

    Would you provide additional details how this was set up and executed ? I am confused how you have individual colors and not a splash of "mud".

    that's really cool!! love all the colors! did you guys see the article in one of the photo mags about the guy who melted down crayons and put the liquid on a subwoofer and made that stuff dance? everything was linked together. the flashes, the player and the camera were all synced up. crazy stuff!! this reminded me of that. nice job, joe!!!

    Mike,
    Harolds post explains it very well. Drops of paint put on a sub-woffer and all trigered at the same time.

    Very nice image, Joe! I like the b/g, comp and effect you got with the paints. Love doing this, lots of fun but a bit messy.
