Sweet!! That was a lovely moment that you caught Hendri - great reactions! I can't comment too much on the details as I am on my laptop, but I'd be very happy with this one - those feet take it over the top for me :)

Great timing and Reflection Hendri. Composition work well. Like the natural colours and catch. Did you add canvas on top ? See you have a new toy. Well done on this :)

Very nice to have both an in flight shot and reflection at the same time. Good job. Do you remember which focusing method you used? I just got the 7D, myself, which is a big step up, from my little Rebel. I have not tried many in flight shots, yet.

The fact that the bird has passed you works well in this one as it shows the action and fish better, I also like that you included the reflection. The highlights on the neck are a bit overexposed, I would try to recover them.

Perfect timing! And the reflection is nice. A little less exposure would have helped; perhaps the whites can be saved with reprocessing.

    Hendri:

The reflection, trailing water, pose, prey, all work well here.
The colors seem slightly oversaturated on my monitor.

    Great timing!

Thanks everyone. I appreciate your comments and also agree that the whites are blown. Glenda I used zone-focus. No canvas added Nico.

Hey Mate, another stunner from your farm, and excellent timing to have captured this - especially getting the reflection too. Just love the trailing water from the fish.
