    Forster's Tern and Great Egret
    Southern California

    Welll this Great Egret strayed a bit to close to the Tern colony and was quickly ushered away by the little Tern. You can see by the look on the Egrets face and raised feathers on its neck it was scared and left the area.

    Cool interaction! And you got both birds sharp. Those Terns are fearless when it comes to protecting their territory. I might crop a little off the bottom.

    I like the monochromatic feel and interaction and the wide crop works for me. Around here the Terns and Skimmers are not shy either when a heron or gull gets too close to the nesting colony.

    Very nicely done James. Wonderful poses w/ their feet hanging down. I like the HK look.
