    Default Forster's Tern

Here's an Forster's Tern image from last week's West Coast Flight workshop. The action was nonstop all morning at one location, where this image was captured. A large group of Terns kept circling an area where the fishing was good, giving everyone plenty of excellent photographic opportunities.

Cool topside view, calling pose and fanned tail add to it. Another vote for more sharpening. Are you sure about the ID?

Beautiful banking pose Doug. The open bill is a big plus. BTW, I think this is a Forster's Tern and not an Elegant.

Forgot to mention that I added a sliver of canvas at the bottom of the frame. Here's a repost with some additional sharpening.

Hi Nicki. I did get your email, but I've been away for the last week and a half; no time to respond yet. Look for one in the next few days. :)

Hi Doug, you cant beat an angle this, and with an open beak too. Good exposure, and your repost makes a difference.
