    Great color and clarity. Your time spent on the removal of the unwanted elements in your original image seemingly has led to a loss of the bigger picture. You've created a void.

    James,

    Great image, sharp, great colour and great BG. I think the crop is not ideal. I would move the whole thing down so there is less at the bottom and more at the top. This might have removed the need for the branch removals :D.

    I like the pose, eye contact and BG and would tone down the perch and whites on the chest and maybe a bit less contrast. I would also run NR on the BG.

    Beautiful shot. Great detail and lighting. I agree with Michael -- I was going to suggest adding more on top and cropping some off the bottom.:)
