When shooting Terns you really just time the shot and hope for the best at capturing a pose that looks appealing. This is another one from the West Coast Flight Workshop.

    Thanks For Looking

    James:

Lovely, very painterly feel, esp. the background. Sharp, interesting pose, esp. the tail flare. Nice exposure.

    Cheers

James, killer wing position, and the whites of the Tern, really make it stand out against that lovely BG. Well captured.

Just great. The soft light, pose, and sharpness couldn't be better. That workshop sounded amazing!! Jealous of all the terns you got. Especially the elegents.

Great pose, eye contact and BG. I might run NR on the BG and if it were mine, I would remove the specular highlights on the bill.

Hi James, this looks great. Great pose and HA towards the viewer, nice exposure as well. On my work monitor this could go a tad darker overal. Otherwise excellent
