This image was taken on the north shore of Oahu, of kids belly boarding in the surf. The flag indicates the existing dangers shorebreak conditions.

Modifications in CS4 included; Topaz Denoise, Topaz Detail, Topaz Simplify, Hue & Saturation, Shadows & Highlight, as well as other standard PS adjustments.

    Enjoy!

Mark, I'm surprised there aren't more surfers out there. They love a good shore break! Southern California has some pretty famous ones.

I like the colors and action here. Nice contrast between the two people sitting on the beach and the surfers and swimmers in the water. I might have liked to see more of the blue in the sky in the middle of the image, but I understand that those are clouds... I think it needs just a bit of CCW rotation. Oh yeah, and I love that red flag - really nice anchor for the image!

Very nice image, Mark. Love the water color effect. Agree with Kerry on the flag... anchors the image nicely.

Thanks Kerry and Indranil for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Kerry, the horizon is level, I adjusted it on the original prior to processing. But thanks for the comment.

Looks like a nice way to spend the day. Comp is excellent and I think the colours are perfect for the mood.

Mark, you are correct! Sorry about that, I guess my head was a little tilted at the time. :o:D

Thanks for viewing and comments, Jackie. Appreciate it.

Kerry, no problem. I felt the same when I finished it and had to recheck it too. We old photos don't always see it the way it is! ;) :D But appreciate your viewing and comments.
