    Default Kalahari morning Leopard

Seeing as we're on a roll here, one last Leopard image from me here (for a while). :D
Taken early morning after being alerted to this guys presence by a Jackal alarm call and some pin point tracking.

    D3 500VR 1/1000s ISO400@f/4 cropped to vertical.

    C & C most welcome

    Cheers
    Marc

    Marc,

Is this from Deception Valley Lodge as well?

If possible I would try a little more width.

Yes, sorry Ken, from Deception Valley.
I have posted some images of this guy in landscape format before.

Personally Marc a really tight crop I feel would be better. If this is FF, then for me, there is nothing around it that adds to the overall concept, but that is just my thoughts. Nice to see you had the grass too.

Love the nice light and clarity in the face.

    Marc,

Thanks for the info, I remember the other pics now, but I did not mean a landscape just a little more space (especially on LHS) the crop just looks to long and thin to me:D. As it is not FF then I think you should give it a try.

    Marc,

IMHO the FF is a lot nicer, but that is my weird taste.:D

I think the last time I submitted something similar, I succumbed to the pressure of a portrait format and hence why my initial post was so.
I also prefer this landscape format as well and glad that others think so too.
......next time go with my instincts.:p
