Default Juvi Black-necked Stilt in flight

This is a juvenile Black-necked Stilt (my guess is 5-6 months old), they have nicer plumage than adults :) for some reason I find stilts harder to get in flight with the right pose, they don't quite fly but hop from one point to the other with pancake wing position most of the way through :D, so you get only one shot at them right at the jump or just before landing, if you miss have to wait until they jump again which requires substantial feeding or disturbance by gulls. I was happy to get this one with top view, hope you like it.

Arash, Up to your great standard again. Love the BG, composition, sharpness etc. Nothing I can see could improve it.

Nice shot Arash, with a nice BG and good banking pose. Would have loved to have seen this with a bit more HT towards the camera though. Still well done!

Pose looks great to me. If anything just a tiny bit less sharpening on the head.

Nice topside view and a beautiful BG Arash. Head angle could be slightly better though. Whites look a little gray on my monitor, and I might remove the specular highlights on the bill.

Arash, fabulous shot. Loved the painterly BG a lot. Awesome pose and details. Catchlight makes this very alive. I'd try warming the color temp a bit. Thx for sharing.

Great dorsal view Arash, and I like the show of his wingspread. Sharp, and separated from the BG nicely. Well captured.

Great in flight capture Arash....very impressive. These guys are extremely fast and erratic. Really like the topside showing the juvenile plumage and the clarity of the eye and catchlight takes this one over the top for me. Some good suggestions above...this is a keeper. Nicely done

Topside view, sharpness and BG make this one for me. I agree with Doug on the grayish whites and specular highlights.
