    Hi Keith Sure is a good looking bird !!!!

    From your shooting perspective probably the best you could have done Would love seeing this bird out in the open I like the environmental image Would suggest more room all around the bird Seems a little tight and mixed light is always a problem Good luck with next encounter !!!

    The small size doesn't do this image justice. I think that in a larger version (up to 800 px here) the BG would be less distracting. I don't mind mottled light usually, but in this case one of the reed shadows falls directly on the eye. I'd work on that area just a touch to bring it out more.

    Agree with above. I also find it too bad the frog is almost lost within the image. Great colors on this bird!
