Welcome to BPN Nico, and a great image to start off with. I like the eye level perspective, with good light and detail on the head. Overall sharp, and the vulture is separated from the BG very well. Comp wise, a little more space on the left will work, and maybe a tad more on the right too.
Very nice capture Nico, love the detail in the eye. A bit harsh under the wing, but still lots of detail visible. Planning to go there come summer, but apparently a VERY steep climb to the top, to get these guys?
Like the overall shot, great BG, sharpness and detail.
Thank Stu and Charissa for viewing and commenting. Its highly appreciated !
Will look at the composition Stu, Charissa this is a very steep climb and takes 2 ours of climbing to the top.
Agree with stuart.....left needs some more room. I'm voting for a little more on top too. I like the lighting, BG and head angle very much. well done!

nice flight shot against a beautiful BG, good details too, a tad tight in the frame. wish for better wing position.

Welcome to BPN, Nico! It must be great to see these birds up close, I like the eye contact and background in this one. Adding to the other comments, do you have images of the bird flying toward you. This one is slightly angled away from you. Keep them coming!
nice and crisp Nico! welcome here...I also still need to visit this spot :)
Great detail in this wonderful flight shot.
Welcome, Nico. Agree it is a bit tight in the frame. Having the head angled toward you saves the fact that the bird is angled away. Wing position typical for soaring vulture - not much chance of a different position as they don't flap much once moving with dynamic lift from a ridge.
