I love this!! Excellent action, beautiful light and exposure control. If anything would consider cropping a bit off the sides to make it a standard 2:3 horizontal.

Interesting moment captured, especially after seeing the previous one. The crop looks good to me and I really like the BG colors.

Fantastic action, exposure and sharp focus.

I might experiment with cloning out the branches at left, so the egret would appear to be jumping over clear space. Just a suggestion as an alternative look, as the image is fine as presented.

    Stuart:

Nice action, great background. I like Bill's idea about cloning out the left branch. If you showed the images together, then must keep the branch, but as a stand alone, might be interesting.

Whites look better on this one.

    Cheers

Cool shot Stuart. Good timing to get the egret's yellow feet against the dark wing BG. Is the perch on the right the same one your kingfisher's tenderize their fish on?

Stuart, I love this as presented but I also like the idea of cloning out the left hand branch. As already stated, the BG colours are stunning. Well caught :)

very nice Stuart, both white and black birds exposed properly and nice BG. they have opposite colors and are jumping in opposite directions, quite interesting.
