    This is our tough to shoot skimmer colony .... never seen more laid back birds :cool: ...Canon G10

    Boy you have it tough in Florida. We have mostly BBB (boring brown birds) hiding in trees. I hope they get their area cordoned off:D.

    Makes me want to go for a swim, Al, but I'll have to settle for an Ozark stream -- no beaches around here.

    Just got back from a week with the Skimmers in So. Cal. Your skimmers are a little more laid back than ours.

    Interesting, the biggest problem is probably photographing them without people in the BG. :)

    This should be very appropriate for some "Only in Florida" commericials.

    Florida looks like the place to be, whats the best species in your mind and at what time of year do they visit?

    actually the biggest problem there is getting separation are there are so many of them
