    Nikon D300 ,Nikkor 200-400mm f/4G ED-IF AF-S VR
    1/200s f/7.1 at 550.0mm iso200 1.4 TC
    Ontario, Canada
    hand held through f150 sunroof, natural light
    levels, sharpening, Cloned out a small white area

    We were very fortunate to find a cool place with many SEO's and so active during the day., this tree had 4 birds in it when we arrived, and I didn't want to flush them, so shooting through the sunroof presented a new challenge.

    It was fun though!

    Hi Raymond I'll bet it was fun and frustrating I like the sharpness and exposure Also got a good pose with eye contact


    Might suggest cropping some from the right to minimize the oof leaves Not much you can do about bg except soften a bit by blurring Might clone just the
    one stick going into the breast area !!!!

    What a great experience...4 SEOs in one tree. Love the intent look the owl is giving you. The exposure is good and the image is sharp. Wish the owl had picked a nice open perch with a clean background, but maybe next time! Sounds like you have found a great area!
