    Scott:

    I like the dangling legs, gliding pose, look of concentration. Soft background.
    It seems a bit contrasty to my eyes. Did you need to do any pupil work on the eye?
    I might consider placing the bird a bit higher in the frame.

    Pose and BG look very nice. I agree with Randy that more room at the bottom would make it even stronger. If it is not a heavy crop, I might sharpen the bird some more.

    Agree with the guys above that it is a very contrasty image. THis could be caused by a heavy crop or post-processing. Either way, softening the contrast and placing the bird higher in the frame will help. TFS.

    Really like the way the egret is looking down and the position of the wings and feet. Maybe just a little more room on the bottom.
