Great landing pose, good sharpness and setting. I find the shadows of the bill and leg a bit distracting and might lighten them some.

Beautiful landing pose, graceful, open, and strong. Love the colors and detail and the whites are excellent. Good work Jim!

Good action and color -- however I spent too much time on trying to identify the shadows -- Wsasn't sure what they were until I read an earlier comment

A great shot James. Very nicely coordinated background colors with the bird's neck. Good action capture. The shadows are a bit of a distraction but minor.

James I am going out looking for these tomorrow and hope to just get a chance at something like yours! So well done! The detail, pose, composition and techs all come together here.

Awesome flaring on this one, shame on the shadows that do distract. Great EXP control and BG.

Another stunning shot from you James.
Are their feet always closed when they are ready to land?

James, great head on capture, sharp, and I like the underwing detail. Comp works well too.

Excellent techs to capture this just perfectly. The exposure and detail top class. Great head-on pose too. Well done.
