Default Almost interaction: Beggars can't be choosers - juvenile RWBB.

As I was photographing a Ring-billed Gull I could hear what sounded like a young bird begging for food behind me. I slowly twisted around to see, and there it was...a young Red-winged Blackbird in full begging pose. The parents were a few fet away, but I never did get good images of the actual interaction:(.

    Daniel:

Your bird is looking quite pitiful, hopefully the parents heeded his call. A different environment than you normally see for the RWBB.
Sharp, nicely exposed. I might consider toning down the red rock behind your signature, it does pull the eye.

    Cheers

Very different environment from what we see here in Florida. Love the action and moment captured but he definitely looks lost. Excellent detail and sharpness. I agree about the pink rock.

Very nice shot of this youngster Daniel your low angle of capture makes the shot for me as it feels very intimate.

I like this a lot, particularly the unusual setting and soft light. Sharpness and calling pose add to it.

Very nice Daniel! Nice capture of the inside color of the mouth. This hunched pose certainly adds to the vulnerability of the bird - uncharacteristic for this normally aggressive species. But what is it doing out on those rocks instead of in the marsh or grasses?

Daniel, I love the intimacy of the low angle and yes, he does look most pitiful...

Sweet, good thing he called your attention. This is lovely and I hope he was successful in his quest. Great image, the habitat adds a lot.

The little guy sure does look like he's pleading for a morsel from you. He stands out so well from the surrounding pebbles, with good detail and sharpness.

I also like the low angle and pebbles. The pose and open beak adds. Well done Daniel.
