Certainly looks very young, what a dear little elephant. Love the post you've captured. Don't know what time of day, but the light has a nice glow to it. Did you get anymore of this baby?

Excellent, when you get some nice evening light and a really interesting subject it is rewarding when you get a chance for several images. Look forward to seeing them.

Sweet capture Ken !! Like the soft line, framing and interaction ... mom is taking real good care of the little guy!! Tech wise might have tried (after nailing a couple) lowering the shutter speed for more dof !! My first would always be with sharpness in mind btw its difficult to get used to but the MK4 will do mighty fine even at 1600 when needed !!!! Mighty fine image !!! ... you did have a great trip !!!

Very nice Ken. Love the light in this and the golden yellow BG. The poses are nice and I like how the mom has here trunk on the baby.

Really like the bond between the two. Nice color in the background as well.

Lovely shot in all respects. 6.3 looks adeaquate , but Al has the real eye. Really like it, and the light is gorgeous.

Thanks for all of your comments most appreciated.

Regarding sharpness I have others where the young one does not look at all sharp, I can only excuse this by pleading that they are extremely "downy" at that age
