Gotcha!

Been a while since I have posted so here's a quick shot from my front yard. One of those instant shots that you see and snap and hope you got something right. Hard bird to photograph with the strong blacks and whites and the nape is blown beyond recovery. Bird is an Australian Magpie.

I like the captured action and sharpness and wish the bird were angled toward you.

Super action, Colin ! I second Axel's comment on the angle, but fully understand that sometimes you must simply grab an opportunity as presented !

It would be great to see more magpie photos from time to time -- they're really interesting birds.
