    Default Cosmos Twirl

Used the new paint mixer brush to give the streaks at the end of the petals. Radial blur, twirl on a separate layer and blended.(Used Normal and colour at lowered opacities) Masked the center back in. Also used Orton as well.

This is nice Jackie! I think the swirl really adds a lot to the flower and it echoes the pattern in the center. The centered crop works well for this image too. Like the combination of detail and softness on the petals. Well done!

Jackie, the center almost has an HDR look to it. I really like the swirl and the Orton effect.

    Nice image and application, Jackie.

I might have raised the sat a little, but ... as you know! ;)

I'm glad you kept the sharp center--it is a place to rest the eye after swirling and flying about.
