I'm looking for some constructive criticism so I can be ready when the loons are back this spring :)

06-05-2007, 7:24 AM, sun just coming up over the tree line behind me, clear and calm conditions, lots of pollen on the surface of the lake. Location: Snail Lake, Shoreview MN

500mm f/4 lens, set to f/8, 1/400 sec, no flash

    Thank You,

    Steve

Very nice family portrait. I would like to see more room in the left but you did well capturing the moment.

    Red carpet welcome to BPN!!!!

I hope we can make this a very positive learning experience for you :)

Great family moment, tender and well done. I'd tend to give this a pano crop, taking some off the bottom. If you can, adding some canvas on the left would help.

Nice interaction here with the feeding and all. I'd work on some of the oof junk in the water with the patch tool.

Sweet family moment captured. I'd crop from the bottom, and the image could use some more room on the left. A S/H adjustment would bring out a bit more detail on the adults' heads.
