Very nice! The sky with those thin clouds makes for a great BG. Love the smoke/vapor off the wing tips and engine exhaust. Regardless of any luck involved a fine image.

Given the star on the wing this should be flipped horizontally and facing the other direction, although it would also work as a vertical image.

Hmm, serious problem, my eyes only see the shadow on the rear wing and if we are going from our nature critique comments the plane angle would be better facing us slightly more.

Call it a stab in the dark but obviously I am not seeing the serious problem. It must be a plane spotter thing so I'll wait and see:)

maybe i was a little too dramatic. it's not really major, but it is a pet peeve of mine. it's an amateur mistake.

If it were one of my BIF shots, I would be advised that it is already past me a bit and the head angle is going away.

Yes but this way we see the exhaust very well! This is an important part of a fighter jet (at least for me).

I realy like this one, real sharp, good exposure. I have never seen a F-22 myself.

Nice job on the raptor. I haven't seen this color scheme in person before.

I like the idea of this forum as I have lots of images I could post.

Is your "problem" repetitive clone marks in the clouds ?

Yes, I understand, and I love the image....I was just trying to solve the Harold's quiz about the "problem" with the image.:)

Nice image indeed, unfortuatley the F22 is only displaying at one show in the uk this year and i cant make it :(

yet to see one fly about, have seen videos and i really want to point a camera at one!

I think with jets you need either burners, vapour or some background to intimate speed, smoke ofc works as well :) With props it doesnt matter as long as you get some prop blur :)
