Another one from one of my visits in Israel. Taken a few years ago and re-processed.
Nice to see the differences between the sexes - the male in on the right.

I like the similar poses, eye contact and sharpness. Do you remember if it was windy, the crests look a bit wind-blown.

    Thanks for your comment Axel.
No, it wasn't windy - they often raise their crest - I believe it is part of their communication.

    Ofer:

Quite nice! Symmetry, nice exposure, good DOF, interesting and nicely scaled perch, touch of green in the background, all good.

Nice to see the sexes side by side too.

    Cheers

I'll second that, Ofer, its most definitely a part of their communication. Its always nice getting one KF in a frame, but to get two tack sharp on a great perch with a fantastic BG is just wonderful!

Great double Ofer, and good to see both in perfect focus. Well exposed, and I believe the raised crest is also part of being alert of something.

Good call in stopping down thus ensuring both subjects would be equally sharp - a thinking photographer's decision. Cool gnarly perch too, very nice! Although I like the green below the right bird I just wish it wasn't so dark - I'm sure just toning it down a tad would work well. Well done Ofer!

Very nice indeed. how often do we see bird shots at f/14? good call. Both birds very sharp and BG nicely blurred. Congrats on a fabulous capture. The symmetry in this one makes it a winner in my book. Composition is very good as well. Thx for sharing.

Very nice presentation of the two sexes, great for comparison and a very pleasing, well exposed image. TFS.

Good symmetry and well done getting both birds sharply in focus. Exposure is spot on too.
