    Default The Supervisor

Recently three GHO fledged here at our home and so it has been fun watching them explore the world new to them. For some time the Supervisor will continue the duty of seeing them off into the world. I happened to catch a good late afternoon light on this one and was quite pleased.

The light and eye contact make this one for me. The only thing I find a bit distracting is the bright part of the branch underneath the owl.

Agree with Axel - lovely shot and lighting. If you just darken and blur a bit more the branch behind it would make all the difference.

Hi Kim, superb light, and just love the warm colours. Good eye contact and detail, and giving the area some TLC that Axel mentioned will make this pop even more.

Light is is indeed beautiful, very strong eye contact. Agree with Axel in toning down the golden part of the tree under him. I like the BG otherwise, very much.

Axel, Michael, Stuart and Fabs, I hear understand you all and I thank you too. All comments are appreciated.

Rework with bright spots of tree trunk toned down as suggested. As long as I was back to it I figured I may as well work a few other little bright spots too.
