You've captured a really nice pose here Steve, I love the youngster looking at the camera. Nice even background around the foxes and I love that brush!

Certainly a cute pose. Would have thought you might have got more detail at f9, might look at some selective sharpening perhaps? Did you use any NR, if so, have you masked the cubs face? Would also consider tweaking a little in Curves and dropping the exposure a fraction as it looks a little bright, but then am looking at it on the laptop and do not know what time of day it was photographed, so...

lovely shot Steve...but the smoothness of the subjects bug me...it seems you ran noise reduction on the entire image or something, losing a lot of fine detail :(

I did run noise reduction on the entire image. I processed it again and this time masked out the foxes. I also increased the sharpening a touch more and masked out the background. Hope that helps. . Steve

Hi Steve, the repost looks a lot better for me. Great spiky points of wet fur on the adult, and the texture of the adults hair captured very well. Also really liked their alert postures, and perked up ears. Nice BG. Excellent shot of some good looking animals. Well done

    Hey Steve,
Killer pose and the repost does look sharper. I am a fan of tight crops......and while not everyones cup of tea....cropping out the darker greens at the top.....really accentuates the stare even more....you could also blend it in PP'ing....but scroll and cut the darker green with the browser to see what I mean. Still and outstanding image all around!
