    Even in the winter I can find some interesting leaf shoots. These Maples turn this nice white shade as they lay in the water of the swamp. Fuji S3 Pro, Sigma 180 macro, Tripod, F22

    Hey Mike,
    Tough to believe that submerged dead leaves could look this good....but you pulled it off! I'm definitely going to start paying attention more since I love this stuff. Trying to decide if some should be taken off bottom because the pattern and texture in the upper 2/3 is killer. Another beauty,

    Very interesting Mike - another presentation would be to create some ripples in the water to convey the submerged feeling.

    The cool colors and subtle tones are great Mike.

    Personally I would like to see more detail, a closer crop or a bigger image.
