Lovely pose and sharpness and I love the yellow petals in the beak matching the colour of the cap. Yellows are a little clipped and desaturating a little brings back a little detail - Educational resource threads on yellows are with reviewing. Bird is a little tight in the frame and I don't think the heavy black frame adds much to the image. Including tech details can help maximise feedback.

Good-looking specimen, good eye contact and BG. The yellows are a bit overexposed and it might work as a vertical crop, too. I agree with Tony on the frame.

I would also think about gettig rid of the oof vegitation on the left side a I find it very distracting. The border is too large , as mentioned. I like the subject and feel that with a little pp effort this could be a very strong image.

I like the colors in the background and the flowers petals in the bird's beak. The pose is great. I believe this would make a great vertical. The oof plant is distracting.

This would have worked well as a vertical, and agree on the assessment by Tony and Axel. TFS.
