These Northern Gannets spend a lot of time grooming each other, both as a social behavior as well as a functional one - getting rid of the lice that free-load on them. One such object of their grooming, a small dark spec, can be seen on the left ear of the "groomer".

I wish at least one of the birds was turned towards us more.
I find the eye peeking over the neck of the right bird just a bit distracting, but do like the overall 'gannet' background.
