    Default Skimmers (Interaction)

    Another from my skimmer outing on Saturday.



    Model: NIKON D700
    ISO: 200
    Exposure: 1/1250 sec
    Aperture: 5.0
    Focal Length: 400mm
    Shot appropriately on a skimmer pod

    Hehehe, they are getting more demanding with age. Nice eye contact from adult, typical chick begging pose. I like the low angle, you down on the slope. I think it could go a little lighter without a problem, thanks for being part of the project!

    I'm always amazed at the size of food babies are able to swallow!! I like the look on mother's face - almost stunned or surprised. Good job on the techs. I'd personally remove some from the bottom. Well done!:)

    I have a few others that really show well the size of the Needlefish (?) and the Juvi's struggle to swallow it, but there are other skimmers in the backgroundm that take away from the image.

    Nice advice above, good interaction. In a perfect world, I would wish that the dark band of the background didn't lie behind the adults wings, they tend to blend in a bit.
