    Default Leopard pose

Captured this very inquisitive 3 year old male Leopard as if he was posing for the front cover of Africa Geographic.
Only minutes later our driver and guide Adriann had to bang on the side of the Land Cruiser to stop him from jumping in the back! Something totally out of character for this (and any other) particular Leopard.

love the intent gaze, DOF and soft light here Marc...do wish you'd had that tad of extra space on the RHS but that's what you get for shooting a prime lens ;)

Marc, what an awesome experience. Love this portrait and the clarity is so good that you could experiment with cropping if you wanted. Those eyes!!!

Love that looks Marc! Can't believe that a leopard is trying to get into the vehicle like a cheetah. Superb experience. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Marc, probably one of the nicest images of a Leopard I have seen for a while. Colour is bang on and the slight clipping on the rhs does really worry me as it's the stare and face that grabs your attention. Like Hilary's image of the Giraffe, this is clean and simple which for me, makes the image with good light.

I just wonder if it's just a fraction too sharp? What were the settings? I might be tempted just to drop it a fraction.

    Marc,

I have to agfee with Steve about the level of sharpness, other than that a mighty fine image.

Wow Marc, what a shot. Really like the stare, he is so intent. This shot works for me as posted. Wish I had one like that. TFS
