    I love how the snow fades the bird at the bottom of the frame like a glamour portrait. Good colors and detail - I do wish there was detail in the whites in the center of the wind-blown area of the owl's breast. I wonder if the detail could be recovered in post processing?

    Thanks Matthew, I did try to recover whites as best I could. That doesn't mean I did a good job. I also notice now a faint dust bunny upper left hand corner.

    I like the angle, pose and sharpness. The whites look good here, they are bright but not overexposed. I would run NR on the BG. Nice to see snow in this weather. :)

    A lovely portrait of this youngster Art. I love the blend of foreground and background and the HA. I usually like to see both eyes but the one is very well shown and is a nice focal point of the composition.
