    Nice pose. A little bit of a head turn toward you would make it even better. I'd probably crop a tiny bit more off the right to get the bird farther off center.

    Did you have to lighten or crop this image a lot? The red looks more like pink to me and the bird overall looks a little washed out.

    You are so lucky to have even seen this little bird. Nest time try to get the bird with catch light in the eye & sun at your back.

    Welcome Manuel - Lovely bird with a good BG. A fill-flash would have been beneficial here providing a stronger catch light to the eye and balancing the natural light. But nicely composed.

    This image has some things to like - BG, perch, and overall very clean. But I have to agree it looks totally washed out.

    Sorry guys: What exactly do you mean by "washed out"? I guess is some kind of phototography slang I am not familiar with. Cheers!

    Washed out = pale or faded, drab & lacking in vibrancy. This is what I expect from a VFC color wise:
