Hendri, beautiful light here and I like the way the giraffe's neck is mirrored by the tree trunk. The orange rim light around the bushes is very emotive. I like this very much as presented.
Hendri, how nice. Love your composition and the lighting. There is just enough detail in the shadows to draw me right in, including the hint of shine on the giraffe's hooves. Thanks for sharing, this will linger in my head all day.
It most certainly is Africa.
I wonder if less light at the bottom (you can see some detail) would make this better?

The thumbnail doesnt do this justice mate. I like how the giraffe follows the edge of the tree, together with the backlighting through the mane on the neck. Well captured.
lovely scape mate, all good points mentioned - like that you can make out its skin pattern. makes me want to go back there!
