    Had only less than one hour with James on the boat due to bad weather but got lots of keepers in that time !!

    Alfred:

    I like the transillumination of the feathers, dark and muted background, angle in frame. I might be tempted to add a sliver of canvas below.

    Sure does seem like you and Fabs made the most of your time!

    Very nice image Alfred, way to make the most out of bad weather. Looks like a good use of rule of 3rds on all sides. Are those little water droplets coming off its feet? I might be tempted to clone them out (personal preference).

    Hi Dave Yes it is water and was wondering the same thing myself Wish they were more prominent ... might zap for printing !!!

    Good landing posture Al, and I like the detail in the wings. The spoonbill stands out well against the darker BG.

    I wouldn't mind a bit more room below (and left to balance it out), but OK as is too. I love the dark weather mood to this. Percfect wing and tail spreads!
