Another one from the trip on the Hooptie Deux. Under light rain, the juvie let me get quite close.

    Fabs:
The soft light has given you very nice detail and texture in the whites. Nice drip, HA, soft background.
I like the balance of the comp, with the leg included. Bit of breeze blowing up the feathers on the back.

    Cheers

The soft light makes this one for me, I also like the composition and droplet at the tip of the bill.

Like it, nice light which make very nice matching coulors on the bird and in the BG. Good sharpnes on the head and a nice drop adding alot.

I know it would be a big crop, but I wonder how would this look with a horizontal crop to eliminate the leg. That water drop just put this one over the top. Lovely expure, detail ad species- Congrats.

Hi Fabs, great pose and HA, and just love the soft light and pastel colours. The droplet on the end of the bill puts this over the top.

Exquisite portrait, Fabs, for all the reasons above. I like the vertical crop as presented, and certainly the droplet off the bill. TFS!

I've never seen a baby, Fabs. Just a little pink coming in. I love your crop and of course, the water drop.

Wonderful pastels Fabs. All the good points have already been used but I echo them.

I am a unconventional crop / comp person which I realize you are as well. Not sure I like the singular leg though and for me I like him cropped at the top of the leg below the feathers. In spite of that he is a gorgeous specimen which you captured perfectly.
