Hi Peter First thing I noticed that it was a very old one form the first production prior to the introduction of the E model... still neat and exciting. Probably has a Jumo engine?

    Hi Mate,

Acutally its the other way around they were based on the 109G-2 built under license in spain from 1951 onwards, there are a number of examples that are still airworthy. They used a variant based on the old Merc design for the engines, although most were refitted after thier military service with RR engines.

The spanish used them until the mid 60's then they were all sold off :)
