    This isn't one of my favorite birds......but you have made him look good. Great exposure and fantastic details/sharpness. Nice simplicity with the perch and the BG. Perhaps just a little more turn of the head toward the camera would have been nice. Very nice first post.

    Fully agree with Lana Might also suggest a slight different crop Would move the bird more to the corner to minimize the perch Would also make the bird larger in frame !!! Excellent !!!

    Welcome Rudd. Nice details on this bird and I like how the green on the perch matches the BG. As Al has suggested a crop (off the top, the right side and the bottom) would allow the viewer to focus on the bird.

    A fine first shot Ruud an welcome to BPN!!! perfectly exposed nice details and a pretty bg... Both crop suggestions would work well. I hope to see more shots from you in the future....
